Like Swain keeps saying. Everyone gets reps but someone gets more reps with Marquez Calaway than the rest. Those are the most important reps.

Has anyone said who that is? FWIW, we've had a Larry sighting. LWSVol says that JG isn't doing what he needs to do to win the job. He apparently hears it will be Chryst by default. He posted in the Chyrst's job to lose thread.

Swain is under the assumption that JG will start but both will play most likely. Unless within the next 2 weeks one becomes amazing or drops off a cliff it will be JG because he's been in the system longer and has better chemistry with the team.

LWSVol who at one time was the "gold standard" of insiders... a booster/alum with connections in UTAD.... said we should ignore the media. He said that his info was not "opinion". Unfortunately, he said it was more a matter of JG not getting it done than KC taking it away.

Several references lately by Pruitt in regards to making good decisions, getting rid of the ball and how taking negative yards destroys drives....

It tells me that JG ain't gonna be the guy.

There is no way to know who the comments were about. If the coach told you to dump the ball and not take a sack, could you do it? It would take abut two days to figerout how and when to throw it away.

It amazes me that some posters will still believe this year's team will win 8 or 9 games after reading this. The team will have to fight just to get 6 wins.

I wish QD would've stayed

Wow you know what you’ve completely changed my mind about the outcome I think TN is gonna have this year. My lord Pruitt is not going to pump sunshine up y’all a**. What insider knowledge does he have more than what wes rucker or Ryan Callahan has? All of the 247 staff are saying JG is having a great camp. Some of you guys are so unwilling to take a bit of optimism or positive news and twist it so far negative it’s sickening. Idk if TN will win 8 games this year but I don’t think they are that bad to where they will have to be scratching and clawing to get to 6 wins

I'll believe Swain over a supposed insider especially after the last few coaching searches. After them I don't believe in any insiders

Yeah. Head scratcher. He might have been re-born under Pruitt.

Disagree about the ceiling though. I think you are underestimating how bad Jones was and overestimating how good some of those toss up opponents are. Fans can have a tendency to only see their team's problems... but everyone has problems to solve this time of year.

That's your choice. But LWS was an insider long before Swain signed to play with UT. You can check him out. He generally doesn't say anything unless he has heard it from a reliable source. His sources usually have firsthand access to the info they provide.

I'm not aware of any inside track given to Swain for info in part because he makes his living talking about things on the radio. That's not the guy you share discreet info with.

I'm still amazed at how few leaks there are. By this time last year, we would have know who did what and who else got added to the walking wounded.
