Today's School Shooting: Central Michigan

I'm guessing his parents put him in rehab, and he killed them in retribution. Drugs can totally change a person.

I figured he was selling them some crack that was cut with too much baking soda and then they started beefing while keeping it real.

Well now you know how we feel, society is wrong.

And yes you might be.

Of course I understand that you think society is wrong, but I think society is 100% correct and must follow through. The will of society will eventually prevail and you will have to either change your opinion and agree or decide how you will respond to society's decision.

But this becomes mob rule. Do you think mob rule is moral?

Kinda like the Jews did in Germany during Hitler's reign of terror?

democrats can not be taken seriously, while they fight, protest, cry in outrage over *assault weapons* killing children in their schools, they are also fighting for the right to kill more than a million children every year in the US through abortion. Gun homicides, semi auto rifles in particular are so far down the list of children killers in america and yet here we are.

I think we all understand that every individual has their own moral code (I would hope) and that everyone draws lines based on that moral code.

See if you can process this.....you live in a society and exist within its parameters. When those parameters are in conflict with your personal moral and ethical code, you must choose how to respond.

So you speak to the individual and not the weapon.

Society would be wrong and I would fight against the decision in the way I saw best.

Got it. Luth’s rules. If society agrees ok but not a requirement.

Luth the BOR was created and endowed on all citizens because of people who think like you do.

How does that even make sense? Rights are granted to the individual by the Constitution. You are going to change the Bill of Rights?

We've had slavery, women unable to vote, gay couples unable to marry, children working 12 hour days, companies polluting without consequence, etc..., all under the Bill of Rights. Obviously the interpretation of rights evolves based on societal demands.

I guess by this reasoning we shouldn't spend much attention/money on terrorism since it kills so few Americans on an annual basis.

Actually it doesn't. None of those were evolutions of the Bill of Rights, most were violations of them.

So the 140 years of women being denied the right to vote was a violation of their constitutional rights? The guys who wrote the Constitution were the ones denying women the right to vote. The guys who wrote it were the ones who supported slavery. Did they intend to violate the very thing they wrote from the beginning or did things change?
