I know, I'm a Tennessee sports fan and if anything happens to our teams, I'm hurt.

But I'm a football child, born and bred, if our Basketball team is in trouble, it doesn't hit me nearly as hard as our Football team

Fired a legend/stool pidgen
Hired a Douchbag
Endorsed a Douchbag
Allowed the Douchbag free reign over recruiting
Committed a number of highly publicized mistakes
Pissed off the SEC/Media/Coaches/NCAA
Robbed civilian at (bb)gunpoint for a cheesburger
Fired the Douchbag
Hired our 5th choice and think hes the savior
Got in gang fight at local bar, almost killing an off duty cop
Have to teach players how to bathe
Expect to win against a top 10 opponent even though we cant beat the lower tier Pac-10 teams

and thats just in the past 3 yrs. Need i say more?

The investigation covered BB in years prior to LK, but the investigation started because of issues with hostess that was under LK's watch. W/O LK's "poking his finger in the eye of NCAA" there would not have been an NCAA investigation, and of course no internal sanctions. This problem would not exist if not for Kiffin, although Pearl and his staff did actually break some picky rules. It was not being truthful to investigators that has elevated the seriousness. W/o investigation - no issue.

No but everyteam makes extra calls and txts. Kiffin got the NCAA snooping around and they always find something. Pearl shouldn't have lied but he's paying a heavy price. Crime commited, crime paid for. End of discussion. No way NCAA imposes additional penalties.
