I'm sure I'll get bashed for this post, but here goes. Today I am just proud to be a Vol. I haven't felt proud to be a Vol since THE YEAR before Fulmer left. I bleed orange, but I mean really proud deep down inside. It feels really good to wear orange and white again. The pride and dignity we had all grown accustomed to is back in the UT family. I bet UT clothing sales skyrocket after today! There's something about being successful with a touch of class you know.

Doubtful, if I had to guess.

24/7/365 Vol For Life. I'm a Vol all day every day. Regardless win lose or draw. I agree though today is a great day to be a volunteer. We have a coach who understands the southern way of life. He understands volunteer football is a way of life. I think the biggest sign of support for CDD is to sell out the orange and white game. Bama has done it for the past few years and their spring game is on the espn family of networks. Lets get behind them and give the SEC and the rest of the nation a taste of what Tennessee football is all about.

Couldn't have said it any better ... and if I notice any bashers ... you know the rest, paybacks are hell.

Nah, your wrong. Yeah Kitten sold T-shirts but DD sells the truth. We need a good slogan and were off to the races. "Dooley Truck" won't get it IMO.
Not a fan of "Dooley Truck" either ... I do like "Dooley's Junk Yard Dogs" though ...

I agree. I love the Vols and it seems like we are getting it done with class and confidence again. Thank you CDD, now we just need to make sure we get it done on the field too. This is great first step in the right direction.

I personally believe you can play against and beat the Big Boys w/o playing dirty. DD is a class guy but you are mistaken if you think he will be a push over like Fulmer was. If you take a hard look at his staff, that speaks volumes. He most likely could have brought all his staff from LT here, or hired all family and friends like Kiffin did, but no he brought coaches in young and old alike and from all across the country. He knows what he is doing, just listen to him when he speaks. He is very smart, organized, and knows the game inside and out. Just wait until spring ball arrives, and you will see his intensity. You will see a totally different side of him, than you have seen thus far interacting with the media. The guy is intense, disciplined and all about winning. Believe me when I say you will see a lot of Nick Saban in him. And that alone should excite all Vol fans, because we all know that guy is a winner.

Sorry that people don't like my Dooley truck but it was lane train and I hope I never see train again as long as I live.

A Dooley is 1 tough truck so it kind of fit and if it's a diesel 4x4 then stay out of the way.

Smarter people than me will come up with a great slogan that will stick.

I never stopped wearing my Orange but it was getting old hearing so much bad crap about he who shall not be named.

I've always been a proud Vols no matter if we have a good season or not.

I'm feeling clean and prouder than I have in awhile now and I think CDD and his staff are going to surprise alot of people in just 2 years from now.

1 poster was exactly right when Dooley hits the football field...He hates to lose and is very motivated and he will demand and expect the best from every young man on his team.

Not even 3 solid weeks on the job and look what he's accomplished already.

GO BIG ORANGE !!!

I agree. We tried the mouthy and cocky young coach. Now back to our roots! This coach represents what our program is about. Class and class can win against the good teams in the country. Wait and see.

SEC put together, practically, and you see what that gets them in football. I like Dooley--but you don't win football games in the SEC by being classy, necessarily: this is a hard-nosed business in which recruiting is paramount, and we simply have to get the players to compete. He did a good job of holding the class together, but we've got to try and build some momentum on the field and get an even better class next year.
