Tobias Harris traded to Orlando Magic

He was going either way. He was a lottery pick who probably wouldn't have improved his stock any higher staying.

Yeah, he was gone. That's not what I meant. I just meant that he wasn't as good in that one year as he could have been if Pearl wasn't "embattled".

So it sounds like him moving was really good for him? Was he averaging these kinda numbers before moving to Orlando?

Oh I totally agree. That team had so much potential and then the NCAA news hit and it threw everyone off.

He wasn't getting a chance too. Games he did get to play for Milwaukee he was putting up solid numbers. Even though this Orlando team is bad he's still going up against good players and scoring at a efficient clip

Harris set a new career high for scoring tonight in a 114-108 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats. His numbers:

29 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal

BTO, I'm with you, the kid is tearing it up. In all honesty, numbers for teams like the magic may be slightly inflated because they are usually trailing by double digits for a lot of games. But Tobias is getting quality minutes. In no way garbage time. Happy for his success.

When I saw Tobias play in the first exhibition at TBA the first thing I thought was that this kid is smooth. Watching his highlights with the magic, I say the same thing. Smooth.

he played like 45 minutes.... so the whole game is garbage time, I like the way you think..... Magic Joke

Yeah, he's pretty much always been a 15/7 guy when you look at his per 36 advanced metrics. Now that he's getting a chance to play he's pretty much sticking to those averages. He seems to have trouble against the Pacers and the Grizz, but he's been successful against every other team he's played.
