That's a pretty damned impressive list of schools.
What's our chances?
For those of you wondering why I've been shredding Tanning Bed for his little Maccabiah Games vanity trip, Adam Zagoria quotes Harris as saying Jim Calhoun "scored major points" with him by showing up for all of his games during the Peach Jam despite the fact Calhoun is still nursing broken ribs.
I'll put it this way: How do you think UK fans would react if Cal skipped the Peach Jam to go coach a tournament at the Vatican?I usually don't agree w/ u a/b Pearl, but this is warranted, especially after hearing the Calhoun story. I'm a Christian, and I would never go to some "Christian Games" somewhere out of country to go coach some kids when i could be recruiting.

How can you not support it? What's more important to UT basketball, Tanning Bed tooling around Israel coaching Little Stevie and Dan Grunfeld against the best Jewish players from Mexico or adding some quality players to what promises to be a woefully inadequate frontcourt in '10-'11?I have to agree with you guys that I think CBP going to Israel and doing this whole tournament is a bit of a head-scratcher to me, and I can't really say I support it, because I want to see him working on that 2010 class.

You can't really compare it to a Christian or Catholic thing though, because Judaism is a bit more than a religion. Still, it is a sort of ridiculous idea.
