USC played good tonight actually. I think they were ready to play and had a good game plan. Unfortunately for USC, the game was over in the first quarter. You cannot put the ball on the ground 3 times and win. Not against a team that is starting to fire on all cylinders. I will say this, I have seen TN on the other end of that statistic and it stinks but USC can go on and have a great season (if they don't get down).

Come on man, this is a great win for Tennessee. We are on the raise, and we could have a top 3 class in recruiting. This SC team is the best Tennessee has every played, they have a lot of talent. In the future Tennessee will pass them again, so this win is huge, but with Spurrier there they will always be tough. When he leaves they will really drop off.

Arkansas game next week is huge for us. We'll know what kinda season we'll have with that game.

We have the worst offensive line and special teams in the entire country. They are horrible. I'm so disapointed I could puke. 6-6 is a real possibility

the problem with that is that south carolina isn't a historically relevant program like tennessee is. tennessee at least has a winning tradition that recruits know about. the gamecocks don't have the same luxery, and it makes a somewhat big difference in recruiting. not all of it is on spurrier. south carolina would be a challenge for anyone to build up.

I think the fact that this game was over in the 1st quarter contradicts your point that they came out with a good plan and/or were ready to play.

It didn't look like anything except sheer domination in the first quarter. They played fine for the rest of the game (for the most part), but they did not come out ready to play.
