I'll disagree with one thing in the article about the lung cancer thing and the comparison to cigarettes. With weed, you aren't likely smoking a pack or more a day like one does with tobacco. So the comparison made in the link:

Marijuana Doesn't Increase Risk of Lung Cancer, Mental Illness or Death | U.S. Marijuana Policy: 10 Reasons to Change Laws | TIME.com

And here:

Study: Smoking Marijuana Not Linked with Lung Damage | TIME.com

It can't really draw the conclusions that weed doesn't cause lung cancer as the second link points out that the majority of people tested haven't reached an age to where lung cancer is a real threat. And they aren't heavy users like tobacco smokers would be. Or the theories are inconclusive since both sides are not agreeing on the research data.

However, I'm sure there are more than a few folks on here that would volunteer to be a lab rat for testing the theory of marijuana use lol

To remain in pure unsavable form lol
I'll say I don't want drugs illegal nor regulated in any form, I.E. Taxed. I want people to be free to make their own mistakes and learn from them good/bad. Plus, I feel the government has no right telling people what substance they can/cannot put into their body. But, you knew that already lol :good!:

The legality of things is very superficial as compared to the immorality it creates in the form of the drug war.
That documentary has some very heartbreaking moments, the state rests itself on our shoulders and is becoming unbearable. I've been rather depressed after watching it all afternoon.

With the time you took to make this post, several google searches on various phrases could have been done.

Just sayin'!

Greatest of all time is all I know.

And when I think of that, I think of Peyton Manning.

So grandvol is Peyton Manning?

The kids got kicked out of the pool for misbehaving. All they had to do was leave. Could have avoided all that nonsense.

All 50 US states fail to meet global police use of force standards, report finds | US news | The Guardian

"Shoot first, ask questions later" is, surprisingly enough, not an acceptable use of force in most nations.

Ridiculous. It gets better, though:

This is getting embarrassing for the US. "We're not even asking you to stop your police from killing unarmed citizens or those armed with knives... we're just asking a developed nation that supposes itself as the best in the world to at least report all the numbers."

I'm ready for Grand Vol's rebuke now. Or is he back on his self-imposed vacation or banishment? I can't keep up with his reality TV show levels of drama.

Meh

Oh gee Freak, I didn't know you were posting under another screen name. So sorry of me to wear out my welcome and you couldn't email me about it.

Some people were content to leave well enough alone and not say a word and I respect that. However, you and others couldn't keep your mouth shut and had to say something like little chatty teenage girls. You think I'm mean and hateful? Grow a pair junior; it's the internet and I'm sorry if you suffered emotional trauma over my posting and calling you stupid when you likely were being. And I'm fairly selective over those I berate and generally only when it's warranted. And most often after I've tried to be reasonable. Oh, that's an opinion as well, just like your opinion I've worn out my welcome.

So unless you are Freak, and I'm ready for a vacation for calling you out for being a snide and chatty teenage girl poster, you can take your opinion the same place you'd like me to shove mine. You don't have the right to say I've worn out my welcome and if you don't like my posts or they cause you undue stress, there's an ignore option on the left side of the screen.

Have a very nice day.

I just simply think you're a douche and and was glad the thread wouldn't be littered with ignorance anymore. Since I knew beyond all doubt you'd be lurking, I expressed those thoughts.

Nope, but recent posts have caused me to rethink my position on VN and move on. Proverbial straw that broke the camel's back and all.

This is my last post on the forum and won't be an "LG takes his ball" type of thing. No Grand Rants or a long winded post. Just a simple adios to some of you on here.

Amazing nobody liked this post. Wonder if it because 90% of the people here like Grand? We all differ in our opinions but we can treat eachother with respect despite our differences.

Cdy, I'm probably the worst poster here for hatred of cops(in an irrational pit of my stomach whenever I see one kind of way). I have had 0 problems with GV.

Maybe somebody should tell GV this and him and I would probably get along much better.

Do me a favor. Go back and look at many of our disagreements in this thread and see who turned the conversation ugly.
