It's also pretty simple to figure out exactly the tactic he was using. He basically was using the equivalent of a backhanded compliment. Plus as I said before, he has focused way more on the guy running than the guy who freakin' killed someone.

Have you not figured out that the point I was making is that in every one of the shooting incidents discussed that the victim did something very stupid before they were shot. Do you get it? I never said if you run expect to get shot in the back.... Do you think the cop would have shot him in the face had he not ran?

You keep trying to have it both ways.

Both ways? I guarantee you the cops will rough you up a little bit at the very least if you run.....slam you to the ground.... Knee on the back of the head while getting cuffed..... Maybe tazed .... That' should be common knowledge .....the cops looked as if they were going to beat the horse thief to death.....BIG DIFFERENCE

For all you overly sensitive types I want to make it perfectly clear that I am in no way condoning or defending the cops that beat the hell out of the horse thief, but here is some info on him....he sounds like a really nice guy.....a modern day Mr. Rogers

Pusok has a smorgasbord of vehicle code violations and pleaded no contest to several criminal charges, including multiple instances of resisting arrest, attempted robbery, animal cruelty, and fighting or offensive words, according to San Bernardino County Superior Court records.

McMahon said deputies had previously been called to a home where Pusok allegedly made threats to kill a deputy and fatally shot a family puppy in front of his family members. "We were very familiar with his aggressive nature," McMahon said.

And if it makes you guys feel better....

Two of the deputies received injuries including abrasions, a twisted knee and hurt back from being struck by the horse.

And that justifies the beat down?

How do you like my MRAP. Several mid-state depts got one also. Free of charge btw. Ours is in the process of being painted black. I'm trying to talk the chief into putting shark teeth on the front. The first thing we did was drive through the projects. May I suggest if this awesome beast pulls in front of your house, just lay down and quietly surrender.

To the Governor’s Desk: Montana Legislature Passes Bill to Limit Federal Militarization of Police | Tenth Amendment Center Blog

HELENA, Mont. (Apr. 8, 2015) – A bill that would heavily diminish the effect of federal surplus equipment programs that militarize local police was given final approval by the Montana House today.

The vote was 79-20.

Introduced by Rep. Nicholas Schwaderer (R-Superior), House Bill 330 (HB330) bans state or local law enforcement agencies from receiving drones that are armored, weaponized, or both; aircraft that are combat configured or combat coded; grenades or similar explosives and grenade launchers; silencers; and “militarized armored vehicles” from federal military surplus programs.

BTW, did anybody watch the video of the family here in AZ that fought the cops? I guess they are some cult, Christian group called Matthew 24 or something like that. They're from Boise and were just traveling through.

Family release video showing officer shouting at mentally ill man [Lavall Hall] seconds before he shot him as he tried to run away

Hall's family have now filed a wrongful death lawsuit in federal court in Miami against the city of Miami Gardens and the two police officers, Peter Ehrlich and Eddo Trimino.

According to the complaint Ms Daniels had previously called police for help with her son, and the department was aware of his condition, alleging excessive use of force by police and wrongful death.

'Hall was unable to communicate, clearly did not understand what was going on, and was visibly scared,' it said.

Two of the five bullets fired hit Hall Miami Gardens police told reporters in the days after the incident - explaining that Hall had attacked officers with the broom.

But Hall's lawyers argue that the police used 'excessive force' after he ran away from them.

His lawyers said Hall was holding the broomstick and dressed only in his underpants but the video shows he can be seen running from the police.
