New details about the Tamir Rice shooting:

- cops did nothing to help the wounded Rice. An FBI agent that arrived on the scene was the one to administer first aid (basically 4 minutes of standing around)
- the cops did do something...when Tamir's 14 year old sister arrived on the scene, they took her down, handcuffed her, and put her in the patrol car 10 feet from her dying brother
- the cop who killed Rice had been forced to resign from another police department for a record of mental instability and dismal gun performance

I mean, we have the video of the shooting and some of you still stood up for the police, so I doubt this will convince anybody these white knights were in the wrong, but there you have it.

The first bolded is so ****ing bad. I can't imagine that.

The second bolded: why was that man even a police officer if he exhibited those two qualities at ANY time? This goes back to a recurring theme in here... LEO's should be held to a much higher standard than you or myself.

I'm sure dealing with the dregs of society day in and day out takes a toll.

lol, reminds me of these two kids(they were brothers) in the neighborhood I grew up in. These were the kind of kids that took their jollies from putting firecrackers in animals' mouths and shooting pets with BB guns. They were consistently the dumbest kids in school, failing and being held back multiple times. They never showed any signs of improving their behavior by the time we had left that area, and then a few years later I heard they were both becoming cops.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. :)

Are you sure he wasn't just reacting to the company he was with at the time?

My bad York. Didn't realize you were trying a funny.

I'll go sit in my corner now.

No sweat, my fault for being an infrequent poster these days.

Reminds me of a joke:

An elderly man and women were thinking about getting married. She wanted to know if his situation so she asked him a few questions...

W: Healthy?
M: Everything works
W: Finances?
M: I get by alright.
W: Sex?
M: Infrequently
W: One word or two?

How's the job thing going?

Slow...had a skype interview right before the holidays, haven't heard if I made the cut for the next round yet. I think my chances are good but who knows.

Best of luck.

If you need a former cop that has extremely limited work in the S-2 field to open a branch office at OU, let me know :p
