His last words were "I can't breathe..."

But hey, we have to get these loose cigarette dealers off the streets. There is no way of telling how many people have died and how many communities and families ruined by these cigarette dealers. Plus, these cigarette dealers are hurting New York tax revenues. The3 state of New York went through all of that trouble to tax cigarettes to the point where they are the highest in the country, and these street vermin cost them millions.

Murder. That's what every officer involved in that lethal take down should be charged with.

It's the same standard they would apply to the citizens they are charged with protecting.

Can someone please explain to me, how it's illegal to buy a package of cigarettes, then decide to sell a few singles?

Wasn't the tax paid on the initial purchase? Yet, they were being called "untaxed" cigarettes.

It is illegal in NYC. Packs of cigs there are pushing $15 due to brutally high tobacco taxes. People who cannot afford packs will buy singles.

Most of the people who sell singles buy in bulk from states like NC or VA, where the taxes are a fraction of the NY tax.

The high sin tax has created a large tobacco black market.

That is still insane. Why should it be illegal for someone to sell something that isn't an illegal item? New York is beyond retarded.
