I saw that on the news. This is what you get when you have elected officials with state-wide police powers and only 120 hours of mandatory training.

Good job by investigators to flip one bad cop on the others and then follow up with more arrests. Great police work!
Hey Tim. How would one go about proving they were not in a state, and did not receive two tickets ( one speeding-one no id)
Nor were they driving or had ever driven the vehicle which was used during this time?
Not sure, I've never written a ticket. But, I'd contact the agency and get in touch with the officer or his supervisor. Most agencies have video and the officer should be able to see that you are a victim of ID theft. Or, you could file a report with your local pd for ID theft and let them handle it for you.
Coincidentally, I was accused of running through a toll booth in Miami in my G ride while in Nashville. What are your circumstances?
I moved to arkansas in 1998. Surrendered my Tennessee license and received an arkansas license. ( cdl)
Apparently I recieved 2 tickets on April 27th 2000.(Yes 14 years ago) in Mississippi.
One for speeding and the additional one for no ID. As I stated above I've been here in arkansas during this time, and the license number the tickets were issues to were a tn license. I called holly springs Mississippi court house to inquire ( they sent a letter I got yesterday- are looking to issue a warrant) and they understood my problem, but want me to investigate who was driving the cadiallic 14 years ago and let them know who did it. She did give me the plate numbers of the car. How and the hell do I straighten this out? Can I not go to my local pd and do a sworn affidavit or something and send it to Mississippi and be done with this?
I can't lose my license or get arrested, even to eventually cleared. The company I work for does federal work and this could cost me my job.
Just point me in the right direction please...
This just seem crazy to me. The guy had no license/id but the officer takes his word for it on who he is? And yet cites him for it?
And I also thank you for your time
