Cop was a complete tool by pulling his gun.

I do question why the guy stated "you all have done enough to my family". Wouldn't it be worth while to know the background on this person or situation?

I've seen all I need to see. The cop pulled out his camera to mock the civilian and then he gets out his car with gun in hand.

What more info do you need to know that would justify any of the cop's actions?

I see a cop come out of his cop car with his gun out on a clearly unarmed man on a clear sunny day.

How do you know? You taking his word for it?

What kind history has this guy had with the police? He may have been on probation or under house arrest.

"You're taking a picture of me... I'm taking a picture of you."

"Get your hand out of your pocket..."

"Are you one of those Constitutionalists..."

We don't have any idea why the cop was there......

Cops had obviously been called there before...

He unholstered his weapon bc the guy had an attitude and wouldn't pull his hand out of his pocket....he never pointed his weapon at the guy.

The guy was obviously expecting something bc he as filming way before the cop stopped.

There are several details we need to know before we know if this cops actions are just or not.

Let's assume that the guy was armed... he's on his on property unloading his boat. Is that worthy of a cop calling in his plates, taking pictures of him and getting out of his car?

Is it unlawful to carry on your own property? If it was, the cop would have arrested him (just like he said at the end of the video).

Having an attitude is worthy of guns being drawn by cops?

Seated next to him was a young woman who had arranged to meet someone there to sell a bag of weed. It's unclear what Hammond knew about the transaction, but neither the 19-year-old nor his passenger had any idea that the buyer was actually an undercover police officer. Moments later, another officer fatally shot Hammond.

What we know about how Hammond ended up dead in a minor marijuana sting depends on whom you believe.

Killed over some reefer.

You don't know any of the important details of why the cop was there. He drew his gun bc the guy had his hand in his pocket and wouldn't take his hand out...The cop never aimed the weapon at him.

I have a boat and back it in my garage all the time. Do you want to guess how many times the cops have stopped at my house? Don't you think there might be more to this story?

Dude with camera had the attitude, can't follow orders. Just another punk trying to get his 15 minutes of fame and trying to stir the shat.

You watch a video and come to the conclusion that the cop was at fault. What really happened before the camera came on?

It could be more to the story.

Give me one reason that would justify that kind of response from the cop.

A neighbor called because of a disturbance... the cop pulls up and assumes the suspect is armed... so what does he do? He pulls out his camera? He later on explains in the video why he pulled his camera out (because the suspect was recording him). So now, we have a possibly dangerous and possibly armed suspect... your next response (after taking your camera out) is to get out of your car and draw your gun... which would automatically escalate any situation.

Again, having an attitude is worthy of having a gun drawn? Really?

The cop at the end of the video already said that if he was going to arrest him, he would have done it... so obviously, no law was broken.

So if no law was clearly broken, what was the point?

And can you not carry a gun on your own driveway (assuming the guy did have a gun)? Is carrying on your driveway illegal?

I did some research on this. Google it. The chip was called there because of a parking complaint called in. Is our reasonable to believe that he was taking a picture of the way the truck was parked add evidence? Especially since the guy complained about his family being harassed. Isn't it reasonable to assume that? Also if your a cop going to a person's house who has issues with the cops that your going to be on edge? Should he have drawn his gun? Probably not... But he did ask for the guy to get his hands out of his pocket. The guy said no I've done nothing wrong. Then the cop unholstered his weapon. Never lifted it, or aimed it.

Unless yourself I have not seen everything I need see here. There is much more to this story than the few minutes of you tube footage.

Is our reasonable to believe that he was taking a picture of the way the truck was parked add evidence? (I just watched the video again to make sure, but the boat/car were in no way blocking the neighbors from getting out of their driveways) Especially since the guy complained about his family being harassed. (Probably not... you think?) But he did ask for the guy to get his hands out of his pocket. The guy said no I've done nothing wrong. what is with this hand in the pocket crap? Is that illegal? So what if the guy has or doesn't have a gun in his pocket? Is carrying a gun in your driveway illegal?) Then the cop upholstered his weapon. Never lifted it, or aimed it.

The cop over-reacted.

Are you going to completely disregard what this guys history may have been? I've already said the cop probably shouldn't have unholstered his weapon. But given the circumstances you are in no way shape form or fashion going to ever remotely consider there is something else there.

You said it yourself. The video is all you need to see. You jump to conclusions based on one thing and not the entire story.

I clerly said that there may be more to the story.

It still doesn't excuse the cops actions... I don't care what twisted scenario you come up with, none of those scenarios results in a cop clearly agitating a civilain by stalking him in his cul de sac, pulling out his camera to mock/mimic him (which he clearly stated in the video) and then to come out of his cop vehicle solo, with no back-up (assuming he felt threatened) and then proceed to tell a guy on his own driveway that hasn't committed a crime (again, the cop admitted the guy hadn't done anything to be arrested for) to get his hands out his pocket and draw his gun.

What version of Amerikka do you live in?

Stalking him? Good grief.....the cops were called and they have to investigate....if the guy hadn't been such a moron.....a less than five minute conversation would have cleared up the situation...... Any time a cop is called to a domestic disturbance he has to be cautious....he didn't pull on the guy but was ready in case it escalated.
