United States Court of Appeals,Second Circuit: SWARTZ v. INSOGNA
There is just too much common sense in this ruling...
You're entire argument is based on the fact that it shouldn't be illegal to put whatever substance you want in your body. But the substances you are talking about are illegal. So it's a matter of following the law or not. And if you feel this highly about the drugs/substanves you're talking about.. Then move to a country that supports your views.
You call it bowing down to your master. I view it as following a set of rules put forth to keep us a functioning society.
We're going to continue to disagree on this subject.
By leaving wouldn't I be taking the rules of the state and shoving them up theirs? If enough people leave then the state runs dry doesn't it?
I never said it was illegal to give the cops the finger. It's not illegal to play with fire around gasoline either.
As usual it spears you missed my point.
What was the point, then? You seemed to indicate that had the hippie not thrown the bird, he wouldn't have gotten pulled over. But since pulling someone over for flipping the bird is ruled as silly and ridiculous (and illegal), then I'm at a loss as to what your point really is.
