Nearly 40 years ago…This case is nuts. Someone kills young lady. Signs point to cop. Investigators ignore signs. In questioning a love interest who was a black WR at Wyoming, cops asked him if he knew any other black athletes that knew her that they could question. You can hear this on audio in this pod episode. Mind you, there is literally no reason based on evidence to think it was a black man who did the deed. They proceeded to hound several black football players (who didn't even know her) for questioning and DNA. IDK why any of this is ever shocking to me. This is America.
The Coldest Case In Laramie - Episode 4 on Stitcher

She had been shotWhat a horrifying scene. Ugh.
Just out of curiosity - do the officers' cameras begin when the it is turned on or is it always running? I'm guessing maybe it was simply edited down and the rest is locked up until they decide to release it?
Glad he's ok. Took that shot like a champ, jesus. And what happened with her exactly? Looks almost like a wreck. Or had she been shot, leading to the wreck? What a tragic awful way to end one's life regardless of what anyone thinks from the short bit of film there was is. Simply nightmarish...screaming she had done nothing wrong and then she does that and it turns out in the worst way possible
