To Protect and to Serve II

Really. Do you have a link? I’ve got 1 I need to take care of.
Not at the moment but I’m sure you can google and find it..... a co-worker told me about it a year or so ago.... I looked around and finally found proof of it... of course this was after I paid several doing home health.... the reasoning was bc you can’t defend yourself in court against just a camera.... There is no court date on the letter they sent you and everyone has the right to defend themselves.

For those of you struggling to understand “civil” asset forfeiture, think of it as a tax evaders assets being frozen.
Still doesn't justify taking property without due process. And using the 16th Amendment or IRS as a defense is not the right angle to take.

Can anyone explain why they needed so many cops and so many guns.

because a clearly suicidal/homicidal woman was waving a firearm outside of some random house? I mean suicide by cop definitely, but what do you mean "so many cops and guns?".. They had so many officers to isolate and set up a perimeter to make sure she doesnt run off or into someone's house, etc. and to contain it to the one smaller area. And ergo officers have firearms with them. Also it was clear they tried to de-escalate the situation verbally until she started waving the gun around and coming towards them.
What do you think they shouldve done?

lol yea a "blind and deaf" woman picked up and loaded a shotgun and took it outside because she "heard" a noise, but didn't hear police telling her to drop it as she pointed it at them?
Another person with dementia whose family happens to be anti-government kooks and they knew her mental state
You definitely can’t fault the police in this situation. I’m sure you know of the incident a few years back in Knoxville where an elderly man with dementia in Knoxville was pointing his rifle at people, and 2 officers arrived at his house to talk to him. He then shot at one of the officers and missed his head by inches, after which the officers had no choice but to return fire and killed them man. I knew one of the officers involved and we talked about that day. The community was initially outraged until they saw the video. The officer I knew told me that he and his partner didn’t realize until after the internal investigation just how close the bullet came to hitting him right in the head and could be seen on video when it was played back in slow motion.

Why did only one of the dozen cops seem concerned enough to shoot?
