Really not sure what point you were trying to make by stating something like this has been around for years.

Are you saying that it is fine and dandy now?
More that the link says “new” but the article is from 2015 and they’ve had them longer than that.

I don’t have an issue with them being used in conjunction with a warrant but no they shouldn’t be used as a passive search of every building a cop happens to drive by.

I’m a religious Waco so those who teach should be held to a much higher standard.

And

In the same spirit those who enforce the law should also be held to a much higher standard

Once again, the point isn't that it is new or old technology. The point I am making is that they do not need a warrant or to even stop you to infringe on your rights.
Ya that's kinda a given. Unless they are required to type a search warrent number into the machine along with gps coords it's invasive
