To Protect and to Serve II

Better question.....Do Ras and DTH explode?

The only person who stands half a chance of being convicted is the driver. However, In the next trial the driver will stand tall before the man. I think it will be very hard for the prosecution to prove Gray was purposefully given a "rough ride."

The fact remains that Gray sustained injuries that cost him his life. Will we ever find out the truth of what happened? I'd say it's not very likely.

The guy wasn't resisting when the cops arrived. Yet, they show up, and as usual, escalate the hell out of the situation.

Care to explain why the victim received 100k from the tax victims?

That's just it..... Based on the video I have no idea wtf what was going on or what the story is.

So are you angry that Nero wasn't convicted. By all accounts he had the least involvement and wasn't even responsible for belting in Gray. In fact, he (Nero) probably shouldn't have been charged at all but given the environment it looks he was charged by association.

No, I'm not angry. I honestly look for all of them to be found not guilty.

Cops employing a new weapon... the sucker punch.

But anyways, what "crime" did this menace to society end up committing that was worthy of all of this?

Pinkerton saw what police sources said was the takedown of a man wanted for possessing an illegal dirt bike. It happened Thursday afternoon at the housing development at 480 St. Nicholas Ave. in Harlem.

Gotta get these illegal dirt bike riding, loose cigarette selling, footloose dancing hoodlums off the streets...

Nero was a crazy motjrr Tucker and I have no idea now he's managed to live so many hundreds of years. He needs to be stopped now

Well, if he smelled of booze he was likely "high"
As for why the article spoke of weed, I have no idea, I didn't write it.
Now, would you like to discuss why he wasn't charged?

Really? He was "high" from the booze? That's you reaching.

And you very well could have used the second link as your primary source, but that's just not that inflammatory since it didn't mention how high the chief as when it happened.

Now, if you want to discuss why he wasn't charged initially, the second link you provided seems to clear that up:

O'Dea told deputies at the scene that the victim accidentally shot himself and did not mention that he was a law enforcement officer. Four days later, he told the city's mayor that he accidentally shot his friend with a .22-caliber rifle.

O'Dea's involvement in the shooting did not emerge until the Harney County sheriff interviewed victim Robert Dempsey nearly a month later.

And not omitting the fact the matter is still under investigation:

The Oregon Department of Justice and Oregon State Police have teamed up on a criminal investigation into the shooting, while Portland police and an independent police review board are conducting their own inquiries.

So give it time.

You're batting .500 today. Not too bad.

The Fish & Wildlife report revealed new details about what led up to the shooting. Dempsey, the victim, told the deputy more than three weeks after he was wounded that O'Dea's rifle had been jamming and misfiring while they hunted. Dempsey said he was facing away from the chief and didn't see what happened.
But Dempsey said O'Dea called him later and apologized, saying the chief put down the gun to get a drink and when he picked it back up, the chief "accidentally shot him," the report said. It was not clear when O'Dea called the victim.

So he lied to the investigators.

Under Oregon law and local police codes, lying to authorities or negligently hurting someone with a firearm is grounds for dismissal and having a hunting license revoked.

So he resigned. End of story, of course he won't face any charges.

So for three weeks, they only had the word of the former chief to go on. And the remainder only came out in the past couple of weeks while an investigation is ongoing.

Why don't you give it a little time for crying out loud.

In a criminal investigation where a police chief is a witness/suspect, why should his word be given any special weight? Had this been a civilian event, where the main witness smelled of alcohol, there would have been some arrests made right then and there, and you damn well know that, Grand.

My guess is that Larry O’Dea is a Freemason. A Federal supremacist who was/is so drunk on the fat blue privilege that comes with being a storm trooper that he didn’t even bother to care about (1) first shooting someone in the back, (2) lying about it and (3) any repercussions, at all. No cares were give. None whatsoever.

Shoot'em in the back and lie about it afterwards... that's the now infamous Palmetto Shuffle that was applied on Zachary Hammond and Walter Scott in South Carolina.

I see someone didn't read the article...
