To Protect and to Serve II

It was kind of a rhetorical question.

The purpose is to disorient by ruining night vision and hearing. Right?

So how do you shoot somebody for not following shouted verbal command when they’ve just been woken up in the dead of night with a flashbang?

I will say the “killed while sleeping” narrative seems potentially incongruent with GF saying he was in the floor bleeding but not necessarily.

What would you have them do during this? Also bet you didn’t speed did you?
Don't want to be paying that ticket. I mean, since schools were out, can't make the argument they were protecting kids.

Anyways, the last two days of travel have been lovely. They must have found a good doughnut shop that only serves cops.

Yeah can you imagine? You wouldn’t be able to hear or see and your heart is beating out of your chest..... you’re wondering WTF am I in hell?

i never understood why liking doughnuts is supposed to be some kind of insult to officers? What kind of weirdo doesn't like doughnuts?

Perfect opportunity for LEOs the regain public trust and support during this crisis. Now that court houses are closed and minor offenses for the most part are being ignored, this could be their moment to shine. The pressure of catching people with tinted windows, reefer or other measures to generate revenue has been removed.

Now they can start protecting our civil liberties by making sure these poltiticians don't go too far and arrest them if necessary.

Nevermind... they are now going after poolhalls. And they also have a tattletail line for you police apologists. 1-800-snitch

I really hope the guys in that poolhall didn't move their cue stick too quickly. That could have made the situation very dangerous.

Cop: What's that powdery substance on the edge of the table?
Citizen: Cue chalk
Cop: You mind if I search you?
Citizen: On what grounds?
Cop: We are in the height of a pandemic here, sir. I'm just trying to keep you safe.

California policing used to be the best in the world and now it’s the worst

So I've been told for years by law enforcement and law enforcement apologist that if given the chance to be Nazis our police (and military) will do the right thing. That when it comes down to it they will stand with their fellow citizens and the constitution in the face of the big bad government. Well I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling they're about to get that chance. Nothing I've seen in my life (I turn 36 in a few weeks) gives me a lot of hope.

So lets hope (and I mean this honestly) they make a fool out of me...
