To Protect and to Serve II

The sad part of this is, with the way people worship police dogs (which is simply dumb af especially considering the way police treat our dogs), I’m sure he’ll probably get in more trouble than if he’d sexually abused a human.
Sadly, you are probably right.

So violation (allegedly) of a noise ordinance is grounds for cops to enter your property? I thought they needed a search warrant, owner consent or exigency? ***** cops...

Arrest warrant vs search warrant...

Here's a decent summary of arrest vs search warrant and when law enforcement can enter a private residence to execute an arrest warrant. Apparently, it is not cut and dried but a lot of gray area. I don't like it but they may have been entering legally to execute the warrant. I think the standards for entering a private residence should be higher.

I could be wrong but l got the impression his partner wasn't really cool with what was happening. I suppose he's simply too much of a coward to do anything about it.

And, TBH, in situations like this, I have a really hard time telling who's more in the wrong. The psychopath or the gutless POS who doesn't have balls to stop him.

Also... I wouldn't hesitate to bet a paycheck that he goes home and treats his family the exact same way.

He escalated a situation when it didn't need to be by pounding on the door and then pushing the door open after the guy went back in to get dressed.
For all he knew the guy was getting a gun. The homeowner actually escalated the situation. I don’t think the cop was in the wrong for knocking that hard on the door. This video is really a non-issue.
