My other point is that it obviously worked for us bc the offense clearly saved the defense by staying in that groove and continuing to score. Regardless of whether we agree with it or not, it worked.

I understand your point if we are talking about the middle of the game but not at the end.

In the Troy game we were better off running out the clock than scoring and going up 8 which we would have done at the 4 min mark if the pass hadnt been dropped. If we had huddled up and let the play clock run down we would have only gotten 1 more first down to end the game. Instead there were 4 more possessions. Bad clock management. Yes we won but the result shouldn't match the poor clock management

I couldnt agree more. Personally i am very happy with the progress of our offense. However, most people on here dont take into account how much BETTER they could be. I truly believe this offense is currently incapable of slowing a game down. The run game is improved, but it is still unreliable on 3rd and short. The intermediate passing game is still lacking (though its getting better). Bray still isnt great at checking plays at the line, some of our receivers need to tighten up the route running and mental focus. But still with these deficiencies the offense is pretty dang decent.

No just the pre snap issues talked about in this thread. In fact I have never been critical of JC and his play calling and now believe he is becoming an elite play caller. I just think he along with DD havnt set a level of discipline in their everyday duties that translates into an offense that plays in a way that doesn't hurt themselves.

5 pre snap penalties on offense and the 1st qt isn't even over yet. In case anybody is counting!!! Non disciplined team with freakish talent in offense

Did the offense win us the Florida or Georgia or USC or Alabama or MSU games?

More pre snap issues. I dare anybody to get on here and say this offense is anything more than an undisciplined team full of talent.
