Just curious, but are you really expecting Trump to hold up his end of an agreement to not run 3rd party if he goes into a contested GOP convention with the most delegates and ends up having the party insiders give the nomination to Romney/Cruz/Rubio/Kasich and not hold up their end of the agreement?

Plus, if Trump wins the GOP nomination after the dust settles, would you support Trump in November?

First a question. Why would you think the party would give Romney another shot?

But anyway, I wouldn't even like to begin to assume to know what Trump would do in that eventuality. It's not like he's been predictable so far, so honestly there is no telling if he would or wouldn't. Do I think he wants to put up high nine figures to run as a third party knowing full well the vote would be divided? A good question.

But on your second issue, I think many of the anti-Trump voters would jump on the ABC (Anyone But Clinton) bandwagon if she gets the nomination. I'm not one of them though.

I really hope no one reaches 270 votes so that the House can pick the president. I trust them more than the general population right now.

Fyp. I'm definitely on that bandwagon, as those 2 we know 100% will continue (and perhaps speed up) the fundamental transformation of America that Obama talks about.

You mean the same house that was gerrymandered in? The same house that can't decide which nostril to pick, then **** it up when they eventually do decide. 4 years and umpteen select fishing expeditions, this very same house would proclaim how great a job they do at doing nothing. Then ask for your vote.

I'm not sure if I would vote for him but I don't think I'll have to worry about it because I think he's going to be assassinated before the election.

You trust the group that has a 14% approval rating to pick the next POTUS. Are you sure about that?

It's interesting how much support or non-support is a function of whether you trust him not to run third party. Tends to make one think that the party support for him would be very thin in enthusiasm.

Brilliant observation counselor. I mean what a couple knuckleheads on a sports site post in the politics forum is a very good indicator of reality.
I'd much rather use this thread to judge than the millions more who have voted in the primaries than normal and in some cases breaking records. But hey, we can't slip anything by you Super Matlock.

8 years ago Hillary was getting her clocked cleaned by Obama in polls and primaries. This isn't 6 months ago.

Also how do you see that happening when 60% of the party does not support him, lord only knows what percentage refuse to vote for him (put me and a few others on here in that camp), and about 40 % of the country is liberal.
