To all who are not TT fans...I have a read for you!

We should just bring back Shuler, T. Martin, Andy Kelley, Burney Veazy, Joey Matthews, and leave a spot open for Todd Helton when he's done in Colorado and have just an orgy of Co-Ex-QB-Coordinators.

Shuler can coach the out routes.
Tee can coach mobility.
Andy Kelley coaches only if ND is on the schedule.
Burney can coach clipboard holding.
Joey can teach about East Tennessee heritage.

Gang, Co-Coordinators is a ridiclious idea, in my humble opinion.

Couldn't he do the hand signals as well?

exactly. the buck's gotta stop with someone.

Exactly, you have to have the man. You have to have someone that's in charge that knows what the hell they are doing.

Say what you want about Cutcliffe but the offense knew he was the man. They knew you couldn't go whine to another guy if Cutcliffe chewed your butt out.

I didn't agree with the man's playcalling, but as far as his disipline, I was a huge fan.

Crap didn't fly with him, you have two guys in one position and crap will fly.

but it's still blatantly obvious that he was the scape goat for 2005.

No. It's blatantly obvious that the Peter Principle has a shining example in RS. He became the OC because he is a good position coach and his loyal boss promoted him beyond his capabilities.

and to date, the only schools willing to do so are Baylor and Ok St apparently. which ought to tell us something.

When is the last time two companys have searched you out and attempted to hire you away from your current employer? And to give you a significant promotion to boot?

wrong. Fulmer never gave Sanders reign over anything. He only gave him the title. All it did was create confusion and chaos within the program.

Sanders turned the KY program around as a QB Coach. They better never ever make him the OC or they will tank.

My position has always been that if an employee came to me with an ultimatum of promotion/raise or resignation. They had just resigned. :salute:

Wouldn't that depend on the worth of the employee? I mean, Moss took a 6.25 million dollar pay cut (you read that right) over his base salary for '07 going to the Pats. Think he's got any viable leverage to up that amount any time soon? I'm not making this a direct comparison to the Trooper saga, just pointing out that if you have an employee (whatever the job) and you both know darn well he's got skills that the market will pay him more for than you currently are he's perfectly legit in expecting you to bring his position/pay up to that amount or have the market do it elsewhere. This is NOT to be confused with some dude evaluating his own worth higher than you do. That's an entirely different scenario.

No. The Patriots have three rings without him. They may give him a raise, but it will be on their terms.

You sure? That Pat defense isn't what it was when they won all those Super Bowls. They need to keep that offense rolling if they want to continue the dominance next season.

That defense will look very different with Ray Lewis in Junior Seau's spot and Ed Reed replacing Rodney Harrison. That's where New England's money is going.

But there is a way to use market information to ask for a raise/promotion without using an ultimatum.
