You dont give up on your team just cause of bad times.Your either a fan in the good, and the bad,or your not a fan at all

All im saying is that Tennessee should not be a school where its own fans have ZERO faith in the team. Why even go to the game, or watch the game? Why even come on this site? If you just know 100% that they are gonna lose then why bother?

I know what youre saying. It's people just handle it differently, when i first started coming on here I thought people were crazy for calling for Fulmers replacement. Now I just realize that different people handle it differently (And perhaps they were right about Fulmer :) )

Along those lines, Survivor is playing at the Fair tomorrow night.

Knox County?

My last trip east left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. It is best to put a little space between me and the Smokies for a while, I think.

I don't think we are going to win.. But I promise you I will cheer like we will!! Stranger things have happened.. James Madison beat Va tech, Jax state over OLe miss.. When are we all going to learn " Anything can happen in this game!?

Please dont come back in a couple of years and act like you are just as much of a Tennessee fan as any of us, or that you always knew that they would make it out of this slump.. because they will make it out. They will win Championships in the future, and will be the old Tennessee again. Just give it time.

smh at all of the "sick of our annual UF loss" and "how bad are we gonna lose this week" and "hopefully we will win 4 games" etc...
GTFOH with that BS.

Amen brotha!!!!! I tell ya I damn sure ain't give and I never will!!!! GO BIG ORANGE BEAT THE Gators!!!!!

Vol till i die.

Do you allow the UF fans that gave up on you guys winning one? Ya know since your first one was 1996. 90 years is a long time.

They had no idea what they were missing, the Gators didn't truly arrive until the 90's, when college football changed because of Steve Spurrier. Its now been 20 years of domination....and its not going to end.

Also, I consider SEC titles to be a successful year, and thats what I meant by 12 years.

How can you blame them for giving up. Tennessee's program is worse off than when Fulmer left. They've been passed up by South Carolina now. Think about that. South Carolina is a better football program than Tennessee. Times have changed.
I'm gonna be laughing my ass off when Steve "Hypesman Darth Visor" brings his Cocks in and kicks y'alls ass.

Lately SEC and National titles are one and the same.

Cause that would mean the Vols are good?
I understand that reading comprehension is a real problem for gator fans, but I was actually responding to your idea how the Cocks have passed the Vols. Of course that is speculation but the reason for my post. I'm typing this really slow so you will get it, don't bring up South Carolina because they gone whip y'alls ass this year. Oh yeah, the Vols gone whip y'alls ass as well.

So many different interpretations of what a true fan is...

I suppose noone is truly a Vol fan with all these stipulations being thrown around from multiple sources.

Even if they beat us, they wouldn't have passed us as a program. We've won titles recently and consistently. Tennessee has had losing seasons, and is likely to have another.

I don't mind people talking about the problems the team has and they are many.
I do really get upset when I see them disrespecting players and coaches.
There's instant tea, orange ade and coffee.
There's no such thing as instant winning football.
Our time is coming and I don't think it will be as long as some people think.

if you asked most any knowledgeable college football fan on the street which program is bigger between south carolina and ut the answer would still currently be ut. just because one team is better on paper in one particular season doesn't mean that that former team has pased up the latter as being more historically relevant. tennessee is still the more prestigious program.
