While they might disagree with them, no one here is directing anything at those reasonable fans. It's the sunshine pumpers who cry "negavol," "hater" and "not a true fan" at anyone that says anything in the realm of negative about Dooley that are catching flack, and they deserve it.

Yet half of the posters that claim to be the "reasonable fan" who is taking the wait and see approach can be found in multiple threads pumping sunshine and calling everyone a nega vol and claiming they're not true fans.

Add another to the list that hasn't a clue about the discussion. I don't see a damn person around here guaranteeing DD's success or "pumping sunshine". I see a bunch of bitter whiners that like to pack together, *****, and like each others posts as they dog the program and coach, while saying they support the program.

Anyone in that little crew is a joke. Period.

I have never claimed to have Dooley's back. I don't care for his style, attitude, ego, excuse making, irresponsibility, his methods, or pretty much anything else about him. I don't have a sick, demented desire to see him fail because that would mean the team was failing. But, I'm not going to defend him or stop calling it as I see it just as you won't stop either. I don't have to like every individual to support the whole because no individual is greater than the whole.

Would you rather him be here in the next 2 years or gone? I mean, if you despise someone so much, there is no way you want him here.

And we all know who will keep complaining and whining. its the same posters in every thread. The first loss is going to be brutal on here with all the supporters of the program slinging as much mud as they can grab. Thing is, if we win, you guys are nowhere to be found. Interesting indeed.

This is perhaps one of the most idiotic recurring arguments made on VN. Face it MH made a mess in both HC hires. You want a quality HC then it comes at a price. MH went looking for a diamond in a coal mine.

Kiffen's contract did not protect the school and the advantage in Dooley's went to Dooley.

This, we can agree on. And in the same vein, it's going to be brutal should we win with some posters (not you) starting threads declaring Dooley the bane of negavols, which will just lead to more arguing.

In any way, it may be smart to avoid this place on weekends, no matter what the outcome of the games are.

Somebody with a winning record as a Head Coach or alot of success as a DC or OC at major programs with NCs. :crazy:

So win as many games as we have won in years, then start another search for another coach and probably change assts again? Have 4 coaches in 6 years?
How in the world is that in the best interest of the program?
