The news that Rogers was suspended today sent a ton of you into a nuclear war meltdown. He was without a doubt a great WR, but Jesus Christ you doom and gloom idiots, he certainly isn't going to make or break the season. I guess everyone forgot there is no I in team. This team is going to be fine and whether he returns or not is not a huge deal. So if you want to put the gun to your heads, go ahead, pull the trigger *****.

But in reality he could make or break the season. We now can be covered, we only have one proven WR now and he's coming off an injury. It is a big blow. But I still have faith in this team. We're still kicking NC State's ass.

There's definitely no "I" in team, but there's no doubt he would have made a big difference. How successful our offense can be this year now depends on how prepared the rest of our wide receiving corps are and how ready Patterson is.

If they aren't up to the task, then I can definitely see us losing some games because of it.

This team had a chance at being something really special but now probably not unless you think 8-4 is special . We really needed all of our guns

From a poster who's father did exactly as you are describing I'd like to say thank you for the reminder. When suicide touches your family you'll sing a diff tune. In the meantime, gfy

Didn't mean it in that way that all, referring to the suicide like nuclear meltdown that happened today after the news came out.

Its not like the chatter has been there all spring n summer but people on vn kept the blinders on. Face it he quit last yr he should have had 4tds alone against that sorry a## Kent Def but he didn't care about tenn.

my kids BF's uncle committed suicide today. I wonder if it was related to d'rRogers, or to this thread.

Unfortunately I am serious about one sentence, and not serious about the other. Im sure most of you can figure that one out.

I said at the end of the KY game that it looked like DR "shortarmed" a couple of passes. I could be wrong, but it sure seemed so at the time. I might have had my blinders on this spring and summer in that I thought he got the message and was doing well. I guess I was wrong about that. Whatever he did, it hurts the team, diminishes his future and makes no sense to many of us fans.

We will survive and still have a good season, but it will be much more difficult.

I agree, for a guy making one handed catches the week before, he sure did have a hard time extending his arms for the ball.
