Let's settle this on the front end...

If Alshon Jeffrey is out can SCAR still win?

If your going to use this as an excuse, let's start now. No more trash talk.

If you keep on talking chit I don't expect to hear, "We would have won if Alshon played" after the game.

Just decide now.

Can they win if he DOES play? But don't you see Clearwater? They have the perfect excuse........it they loose, he didn't play......if they loose, he was sick.

That's exactly what I mean. I just want to know on the front end. If they want to continue the trash talk I don't want to hear excuses on the back end.

But right now I only hear the crickets.

But we are. And we're saying on the front end, so I don't understand the issue. You South Carolina trolls are quick to point out how far we have fallen from our historical place, but then try and say we are not rebuilding? Are you saying you want us just to forfeit all of our future games?

Without Jeffery you lose big, with Jeffery you still lose just not as badly so USCjr is basically screwed either way..

I have not made any stament about how far Tenn. has fallen. All I am saying is that this thread is about excuses. You guys saying you didnt want to hear that we lost because Jeffery was out, or he was sick. Well all I am saying is if we win I dont want to hear about how you are in a rebuilding year. :nono:

Got ya. However, we are saying that it is a rebuilding year and it comes with some growing pains. Don't get us wrong though, we are good. We expect to win every game because we have a great coaching staff. The fact is that CLK needs time to get his players in here before we are back to the 9 and 10 win seasons consistently. I will not use the fact that we are rebuilding this program as an excuse if we happen to lose. I expect us to win.

I agree you guys are on the rise again, and looked good against bama, and ga. Thats the only two Tenn. games I have watched this year. I am very hopefull that the Gamecocks are moving up from the middle of the pack and will be able to compete with fla. bama, and Tenn, on a more consistent basis.
