Young talent is thru the roof. I expect 2029 WR Maddox Porter to be on here down the road
This kid is interesting. Obviously a long time to grow. Lots of talent. A reference for some of us old timers, but a parent on the team compared him to JJ McCleskey.

Quick and agile and explosive.

BGA is stacked and they got better as the year progressed. Lots of young talent with experience now.

Well that certainly was quick lol
I can't wait to watch BGA again this season, and next couple years............

Got a good backup QB as well, to go along with the current starter who has several FCS offers.

Still frustrated MTSU couldn't get any ducks in a row for this class and push for Nate as hard as how high they graded him smh. He's going to be a pretty good player. Don't worry MTSU will bring in their 2 high school commits!
Fleming, Marable, and Blivens from Lipscomb are three solid kids going to Columbia.

It’s odd MTSU hasn’t done better in Mid Tn. Did Mason have bad relationships with hs coaches when at Vandy?

They just didn't even try to recruit this year. Trust me I am very frustrated with how out of order they have been in year two. Had a whole list of in-state kids that could've been impact players here or guys that coaches said no on that went to the top g5s and Ivy's. As you mentioned Columbia is now massive Blue Raiders fans.

Year one was great and they capitalized on lucking into some players in-state for a variety of reasons. Year two to start, the board looked great. Then their insane WR board all blew up and it felt like they completely gave up (Brian Williams Jr to Bama, Dylan Cope to Virginia, Corey Barber to Ole Miss, etc).

Not even returning interest in Camden Goforth, AJ Westfield, Nate Fleming, Brayden Carroll, Cam Blivens, Austin Hoane, etc in-state is ridiculous. Countless more out of state as well.

2026 in-state class was deep. 2027 is very deep for P4, not so much for mid major. They f'd around and are about to find out imo.

Mason was the right hire regardless of results because he set the foundation properly for future coaches to succeed here, but they have handled the offseason from year to year two terribly and are about to realize the consequences of that either this year or the next. Doubt they are here at all for year four especially if there is a change in president at the school...
