'19 TN /WR Lance Wilhoite

NPA aren't handlers. They do great work for athletes here in the mid-south. And, no, I'm not connected to them in anyway. I'm in the fitness industry in Nashville and have a lot of connections (D1, Chadwicks, ATHETIQ, etc) with trainers and training facilities. They provide a great service that is helping improve the quality of football players in the state.

Well if you ain't recruiting my friend, then I have nothing for you. Thats childish. If thats how Wilhoite wants to play it, then he can kick rocks.

Agree....

I'm not even sure what all the fuss is about LW anyway. To me....he looks like a great athlete that is way over ranked as a player.

Visiting this wknd along with other in state prospects Knox, Washington, otey, eric gray, devin boddie

Per callahan

Hope we sign them all.

And still holding out hope for Kendrell Scurry, although things have been silent on his front.

My feelings for Wilhoite differ from most on here..........UT needs E Gray!

Actually, UT needs them all, but E. Gray will be a college stud!

Seems like you don't hear anything about scurry and Sheffield anymore

These 2 have cooled off tremendously. They hv talent, but honestly I think they both will slip to the back of the line with CJP and crew. I think there will be many more that are preferred over them both in/out state

How are you feeling about UT's chances at landing some of these instate players? Specifically Washington, Wilhoite, Knox, Otey, and Gray.

Not really sure at this point but what I can tell you is CJP has all their attention. As I've said before I love the defensive staff but seriously don't know about the offensive staff and recruiting. Defensively they hv star recruiters front to back. Offensively i don't see that outside of Friend being a really good OL guy and being highly respected. The swap of CRG for CCW puzzled me as G was a great position coach, but avg recruiter. The only conclusion i can draw is they want the IMG connections and felt him being here was the way to do that. Love what CDJ did with the Wrs at Memphis, but can he be a upper echelon recruiter here? CBN is young and fresh time will tell. Helton I'm not sure he is an elite recruiter either but i do know how the offense flowed whe he was OC at WKU. Just my .02

Best recruiter on the staff is on offense. Coach YAC is the most popular among the kids. Weinke is also well liked by the kids.

Love the coach yac nickname. Haha he seems to be mentioned by a lot of the recruits. But the offensive support staff seem to all get mentioned a lot too. Like tino, Hardesty and osevelt seem to get tagged in every other tweet or quote.

I get it now, but I was trying to figure out which coach had those initials and it was driving me crazy.

Yards after catch is a great nickname for a WR coach.

Haha right. I only knew because I had seen a quote from a recruit a couple weeks ago talking about him and called him that. It's pretty fitting.

Valid points. Defense is basically a lock to be great at some point. The question is offense. People will want to see what it looks like in spring and fall to know what they are getting into. Lots of potential but have to show it

Didn’t coach YAC just get beat out for an instate WR out of Memphis to Dooley?

Good call. Both coaches having been on their respective staffs for like 2 weeks must’ve played huge roles in that decision for Nash. /bluefont
