Nice. Pope is dropping the ball with instate kids now.
Every year we lose an instate kid to Oregon or Notre dame or socal or [insert big time college football name here] that we couldn’t do anything about. Just sucks when they are a big time recruit. Hopefully this one is far from over as we were running in his top 2 and have a year left to flip him.

Ya’ll are acting like we’re the only school in America that loses instate recruits to other programs.

Not every kid wants to stay home.

Think maybe you misinterpreted me. I know it happens elsewhere and I know some kids want to go far and wide. That’s why I said nothing you can do about it sometimes.

For those who care a lot about kids staying in state I do think they recognize that it hurts a bit more for Tennessee than some other places where the local talent is more abundant (California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, etc).

What's not fair is watching Ohio State run around our best CB tandem in 15 years because we spent the NIL money on water polo or some other crap.
😆

Pope to date, hasn't been an elite recruiter yet. Time to prove that wrong.

We are about to potentially steal Keys and the kid from Utah and the legion is dumping on a 27 going to Oregon lmao

A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush.

The one thing I will admit is it's subjective if you can call Bowman a firm commitment.

It's not subjective that either of those kids are currently committed to UT.

Let's hope that changes.
