Bottom Line - It's first and goal from the 4 yard line. We can't get enough push to gain 4 yards in 4 tries. We don't deserve to win. Plain and simple.

after the miscue with Jones in the first half
why would jones be the go to reciever in the last possesion..

Jones hasn't practiced in a month, and he gets his number called twice in four downs, when were in a must convert situation and Jones runs the wrong routes

Crompton does suck, Stevens couldnt be any worse.

I do drink and have been , I wonder how much it will take to numb the pain this time. Crompton has no field vision what so ever. I can't imagine how bad Stephens must be to keep Crompton in. Looks like its going to be a long year. Go Vols damic it to hail.

I'm not giving up yet. We are still 1-1 and havent played an SEC game yet. This was Kiffins 2nd game! This was a haaaard loss but, maybe the loss will help us next week. You gotta crawl before you walk. I refuse to give up after this.....maybe we get beat at the Swamp, or maybe they are really laughing at us right now and our boys have gotten the "Loss Monkey" off their back and prepare even harder than they would have. Maybe I'm an idiot and have no idea what I'm talking about. Either way, I'm a VOL til the end.

I went to 990 animal but they say they are unable to broadcast due to contract with vols

I agree..as bad as crompton was i would much rather have the ball in his hands on 3rd and goal at the 4 then have to drive down the field with him with 1:40 and no timeouts. If kiffin is going to have absolute confidence in his qb, then he has to let him play if he's going to have him in the game. I think everybody in that stadium felt the lack of confidence in the qb including crompton himself. I don't think we can put all the blame on crompton as some of it was on kiffin but i agree it's time for a qb change. I think kiffin even sees that now.

Only one person to blame for this loss, and we alllll know who it is.Does Crompton even know what a quarterback is? apparently his definition is "throw the ball to anyone NOT wearing orange"

I don't believe for one minute that Fulmer got any Joy out of TN. Losing this game. I think hhe has more class than that.

All I have to say is that Crompton needs to do the team a favor and just quit. The only thing that has changed for Crompton is that he is better at throwing to the defenders.

Play calling in the last 5 min. was terrible...god awful...kiffin lost this game by not playin for OT, plain and simple!
