I hate to say it but the playcalling in this game so far is reminding me of last year. We are just not commited to the run like we should be. Even on the last drive a draw would have been the perfect play call. I know we were short on time but thats when it works the best.

I admit I thought it might be close at half time, UT up by a touch down or two. But I never thought he old Crompton would remerge. I hope UT can djust better than they did lsat year,. This will be a true test of this team.

Halftime Thoughts...

1) UCLA is a lot better than a lot of us thought. At least their defense is.

2) Run the ball more this half and don't give up on it.

3) Crompton had a terrible half but he can redeem himself if he pulls a win out. Way too early to give up on the guy as I think everyone knew he would have his moments.

That was a miserable performance. We are so much better than them but we're playing terribly. I'm sure it has been pointed out pages ago but our line isn't blocking well and when they do, the backs go the opposite way of the seam (no running backs are creating plays, just taking what's there). This is not a good showing at all. Hopefully O will get them ready to play next half.

better, we'd be ahead. You are what you are! Their fans are probably saying the same thing. I miss the days when we used to manhandle ucla...

Where has teague been. I'm obviously not at the game so I can't see all the wideouts, but either they aren't throwing too him or he's not been in. Bryce has had limited carries as well as oku (has had none). Freshmen not playing in big game.... I bet you anything they get way more playing time next half.
