TN vs OKC

The coaches never tried to establish a second pitcher this year--why, I'm not sure. Gabriel never pitched more than an inning or two at most. Don't understand it but maybe that was to protect her hip? Don't know. Tarango is not really a pitcher, and not sure Gaffin is either. Not signing a pitcher with incoming class was strange. Last year we could switch the Renfroes in games--when one started to struggle, we brought the other in--and it was effective. Can't do that this year. I told someone earlier today we'd need /at least/ 4 runs today to win.

Next years team will be one of the best hitting teams UT has ever fielded. We will need to be be able to score and score a lot with our pitching predicament. The coaches however seem sure Gabriel will be a star. She was one of the highest rated pitchers in her class. Only time will tell.

Our hitters have to put the ball on the ground. Hard to win when the bats are producing pop outs. The top of the order has to come alive. We need some timely hits and put pressure on OU pitching.

I've struggled with this question as well because I think Ralph and Karen are too smart to not have better options next year.

I would not be surprised at all to see a transfer in from another program. I think you'll see gabriel leave if that happens

They ain't all too smart if they don't have other arms. How many games do these girls play a week?

Ralph and Karen have to do something about the hitting. In every big game we have always hit like sh**. It's their Achilles heel
