I think we'll win and I'll be there to do my part. That said, the last thing anyone saw from this team was the loss to a Kentucky team that we could literally have recruited a team of VolNation posters and beat. OF COURSE, they think they can beat us. They will learn otherwise on 8/31.

Would love to see what their record had been if they played our schedule ... without their qb and best wr. Wouldn't have sniffed a bowl game

As it turns out I'm going to be in Whittier, NC for the week of the game. So was thinking about driving down to Atlanta for the game. Does anyone have 2 tickets in sections 113-118 or 219-224 they want/ are willing to get rid of?

This year state is poised for a better bball season, still decidedly worse than both Duke and Carolina....but better. Last 5 yrs? UT better hands down. Wake up homme. Basement of the ACC. I live in charlotte, I know you get no respect in your own state. You guys are like the vanderbilt of NC.

We actually had some very nice Montana fans on the board last year who knew they were going to lose. They basically viewed the game as a learning experience to help their team gear up to be competitive in the FCS (the got to the finals/semis in their tournament)

As for NC State. I'm not prepared to write them off yet. They are a team with real strength at QB, WR, and DBs. They led the nation in interceptions last year and it doesn't take many to turn a game around.

I think we win on the back of our defense and by exploiting their shallow/not great LB corp. If we can get good pressure on their QB, I think we can get the ball and just run it until they are forced to soften their backfield.

Anyway, I think the game for NC State depends on whether this guy has an impact:

I have spent the last week in raleigh and trying to find a state fan to talk to about the game was tough. . But the ones i did find think they will destroy us. I got to chat with several NCSU players as well and although they wouldnt talk on camera. . For obvious reasons. . They all seemed very confident and excited at this chance to beat an sec team. . . GO VOLS LETS CRUSH THEM BACK INTO REALITY
