Does anybody have a link to this game? I searched Youtube for two hours and couldn't find anything other than a soundless 2 minute BS fest. I was only born in 90, so no chance to see this game at all and was hoping someone had it.

I have the game on DVD if you would like to email me. it is original version broadcast by ABC. Also have 3 pre-game shows done locally.

Without a doubt the best sporting event I've ever attended. New Years Eve on Bourbon St. and then the atmosphere in the dome on New Years night. The dome was rocking in solid Orange. Then Bourbon St. after the game. Unforgettable!!!

Agree 100%. I have attended many UT football games (including miracle at south bend, 82 win over bama, etc.) and the 86 surgar bowl was the most fun by far! My future wife was at the game as well but I did not know her then and she says the same thing!

Your future wife was at all those games you listed! So next time you young'uns go to a game....look around. Your future husband or wife might be in that crowd, you just don't know it yet.

Yep, Don't know how I missed her. She was hot then and is still hot now. I'm a lucky man!!

I taped it, and still have it. It's amazing how much bigger the lineman are today compared to then.

That was the 2nd week of my honeymoon. My wife and I are alumni and it was a sweet night at the Dome and then on to Bourbon Street.. I converted my VHS to DVD + bought Sugar Vols....I like to hear Jackson keep talking about a hurricane impending comeback that never happened. Vinnie got taken to the wood shed that night..

Biggest win for the program in my lifetime. We became nationally relevant again. Besides it being a blowout, it was the best coaching job I've ever seen from a UT staff. Probably the best overall staff UT has ever had on the hill. One thing you could say about Majors, he always had top flight assistants and if they underperformed, they were replaced.

Anyone remember how many and what kind of blitzes we ran? We got so carried away in the celebration we swore we did 10 man blitzes the whole game and Testaverde had green turf stains on his jersey. How many sacks did we have? The play calling was great!

I remember it being like the old Varsity vs JV scrimmages we used to do at the end of the season in HS. The poor little canes never had a chance. :yikes:

Actually, we got several sacks rushing our 3 down lineman. ON many downs, we would come up and get into a blitz looking package only to drop off when Testaverde changed the play.
