TN vs LSU Rushing Defense

I went back to look at the stats for LSU on their rush yardage on the day vs our defense. We gave up only 55 total rushing yards today. Of those rushing yards, Daniels had 38 of those yards. We held all other rushers to 17 yards on 12 attempts. That is a job well done.

We’re not the most talented group. But our offense can score points and I’m convinced our defense is playing not to give up big pays. Regardless of what happens against Bama, it’s worked, and we’re 5-0 with three wins over top 25 teams.

I remember some bad defenses at a Tennessee recently and this one is much better than those.

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a defense that couldn’t be run on. We’ve got one now and I love it.

We stuffed floridas RBs too. AR was a different story but against dudes taking the handoff running down hill we’ve been 100% legit the last couple of games.
