TN vs GA (Latekick)

I think he's about 180 degrees on JG. UT doesn't need "mistake free" from him as much as they need some deep shots and effective slants. If JG is "safe" and "mistake free" then he takes no risks and UGA plays downhill to stop UT's run and short passing games.

I'm pretty sure safe ain't in the play book this week.Contrary to most on here JG throws a good deep ball.

Depends on what you mean. If you mean he has a strong arm and is accurate when he throws on his own time then yes. The problem is that he doesn't anticipate throws well. He's very often a half count late. That will not work vs an elite secondary like UGA. He hit only 33% in each of the first two games in throws over 15 yards. He's around 9th in the SEC in that category.

He has thrown two of the best throws of his career in the TD to Palmer and fade to Hyatt. But to make UGA honest... he has to hit those throws around 70% of the time

This game will have shades of '18 Auburn game. We stopped an 11 game SEC losing streak with that win. Saturday we can end our skid vs Top 5 opponents (3-26 since 2000). Last win was Sept 26, 2005 vs LSU 30-27.

I hope we win with 2016 2.0 hail Mary just before time expires. JG has been known to throw 'em a little high ... hope Warren and Beckwith have their debuts. Not predicting all this, just envisioning it.
