The 2017 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between the two schools was officially announced as a sellout Wednesday afternoon.

Do we expect more orange in the stadium even though its basically a home game for tech?

That doesn't necessarily mean Tech will have more fans. Tennessee fans are famous for snatching the other school's allotment of tickets.

That's true. But GT got a larger allotment and sold them all to season ticket holders. Doesn't matter-- UT will be well-represented and the stadium will read orange.

Last time I went to the Georgia Dome we came out on the other side of the new stadium and had to walk allllllll the way around the new one. Heck of a walk, that place is huge.

They were added as part of the season ticket package. I'm confident that some of those tickets will be sold to UT fans and you can bet UT fans are easily gonna be 2 or 3 to one on the balance of general public tickets sold. Orange will dominate in the stands and on the field! WGWTFA!!!

UT will look like they have more fans even though GT sold more, that is if everyone wears orange. You will see white, gold, and blue from GT with some other colors mixed in probably. It's annoying looking at our fan base not wearing the same color at a game. UT has one of the coolest things with the white and orange checker look.

UT has great fans when it comes to passion about their colors.... I like the checkered colors as well. I wish GT would just wear all white... there is a push to wear all gold. But GT apparel has serval colors of gold/yellow and some of the colors even look close to UT orange.

GT sold 35,000 tickets and UT sold 25,000 tickets. The rest where sold through other avenues.

UK fans dominated the Taxslayer bowl in Jacksonville Florida.
