If you think you will shut us out thats even more absurd. I respect the fact your team is pissed because of the loss to Cal and its your first home game but it won't be a shutout and it won't be a 30 point victory

I think we'll play tight and it will show as the game will be close. I believe we'll win though. Looking forward to meeting the USM fans.

okay calling us SMU is just retarded. After the defense I saw stopping a one dimensional offense may be harder than you think. We are not one dimensional we can pass. not great but we can pass.

The defense you saw was against one of the best O's in the country that can hurt you on the ground and the air. USM doesnt have the OL, WR, or QB that Cal does and its not even close. USM is a one dimensional team. Im not at all woried about a team passing the ball when their QB was 11/26 passing against a team like Tennessee Martin. We will put 8 in the box and dare you to beat us throwing and i dont think USM can do it.

You are completely right.

I see a game somewhat like last year's Cal game being played out. Vols are gonna be hungry, and S. Miss will keep it close for a bit, but we'll tear em down.

S. Miss is a team that will often play you close, but they just don't know how to win. Appalachian State would kick their ass, and so will we on Saturday.

App State. Wow thats plain ignorant right there. I love playing teams like Tennessee. If we lose heck we were suppose to, if we win its all over ESPN. I would hate to see this board light up if you are going into Florida 0-2. We can win big games just ask Bobby Bowden.

Haha, dude, please give me S. Miss's all-time record against top 25 teams. Now compare that to ours. No contest.

Also, how do you think S. Miss would have fared against Michigan. Please.

Totally disagree.

Michigan was not playing terrible yesterday. Henne was mediocre. Hart was the man. The defense was OK. If you listened/watched the game, you would know that App. St. played a whale of a ball game. They earned it. Southern Miss does have a good D and a good running game, but they aren't quite explosive.

Michigan beats them by 10. Never played though so not much point in debating it.
