You can't even quote me right.

And you're whining about ME getting condescending? I'm sorry, I must have dreamed how not condescending you were being in your first reply to me.

Can't quote you right? What?

My first reply condescending? You must be misremembering things.

I guess we should just give Alabama the SEC championship trophy now. Heck. we should go ahead and give them the National championship trophy too. If Alabama's QB gets hurt, they will be very vulnerable. Auburn can possibly beat them if they make it a shootout. It's not out of the realm of possibilities.

If TTU was NDSU, then it'd be similar to the iron bowl. NDSU would give us a run for our money.

the truth behind your post...we don't want to play bama. this is a sad day for ut football when we dodge bama.

i'll just leave this here and watch.

Bama will dismantle the East rep. UF can have it as far as I'm concerned. Ideal scenario is UF beats LSU and loses to FSU and let them face Nick and his steamroller. I still think it's highly likely the Vols lose one more though. Hope they prove me wrong.

uh, what? you would rather have F playing in the SECCG rather than UT?

ban-worthy, IMO

I would like another shot at Bama. (If we're healthy)

I don't...They'll kill us again...Nothing excites me more than Tennessee vs Alabama but this year I don't really want to get demolished by them twice...Losing to Kiffin makes me sick.

The 85 Bears lost a game. The parity between bama and the rest of college football is almost nonexistent. Outside of Michigan and OSU, I don't see anyone being able to realistically challenge them......especially this auburn team.

Michigan couldn't challenge them, either. In the SEC, Michigan would be bottom tier of talent. The problem is they aren't in the SEC and they are the second most talented team in the B1G. The fact that they win a bunch of games where they significantly out talent their opponents, in the least talented conference, is not proof that they are comparatively good outside of that conference.

The Vols would have a hard time competing with Auburn, because Auburn has a good Dline and good Oline, something the Vols are desperately lacking:unsure:

I guess everyone has forgot the embarrassing SC loss...Tennessee isn't beating anyone from the West (Maybe Miss State)

The only scenario more likely than Tennessee beating Auburn in Atlanta is that a 1 loss Alabama would be chosen for the playoff over a 3 loss SEC champion.

I hear you, but if Jalen Hurts gets hurt, I'd be willing to bet big money that Alabamas defense can score more points than our offense and still beat us using a wildcat running back scheme. Beating Bama this year with our injured team would maybe rank as the greatest upset in the history of all sports, not just football.

eh, i think Auburn's defense is pretty good. like LSU's defense is good.

the problem is Auburn doesn't have the offensive line or QB capable of doing anything with Bama's defense.

the team that has the best chance to beat Bama is the one that has a truly bad azz offensive line....and i don't think i've seen one yet in the SEC that's capable of handling that front 7.

as to the scneario, yeah, i'd rather play anyone in the SEC title game than Bama.

I don't care about the playoff. Winning the SEC is the real prize and we still have a chance to get the Championship. Once we win in Atlanta, we will go to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans! Great ending to the season.

Go VOLS

well, a 3 loss team has no shot at it, SEC champ or not, so it doesn't matter if we care or not.

I wouldn't say Auburn wouldn't be able to "get back up" after an emotional Iron Bowl win. If anything they would be more juiced. They would be playing for a shot in the playoffs. You aren't going to catch a team sleep walking in Atlanta. IF we make it, we will have to beat anyone we play straight up. And let's face it, we aren't beating Auburn or Alabama.

You have got to be kidding. They would be in top 2 or 3 of west and win the east easily.
