TN to wear Orange Home Jerseys - NOT! (merged)

well then i'm going to bed

for a school that prides itself on tradition, you'd think that bama could see the good in this idea...

This was a chance to bring back the Orange vs Crimson. The SEC's two winningest teams, both schools have more tradition than most other sec teams will ever know. (UF only started having tradition in 1990..lol)
Mal Moore had a chance to be a a$$ and he took it, figures, just figures. Oh well, let us not hear anymore from bama about how they honor tradition and all that lip service, this proves that they are full of it.

One last thing, screw bama.

*****BREAKING NEWS******

AL fans (and Nick Saban) DON'T CARE what color jerseys TN wears. Hell we don't care if you wear that putrid pink the NFL wears. Mal Moore is not going to accept ANY proposition Hamilton has this week. Take your penalties and wear whatever you want to.

Way to be a big man and go at the NFL for trying to do something good and raise money/awareness for breast cancer. Do you feel better now? Are the Alabama boards too boring for you or are you just one of the few Alabama fans that are computer literate?

PAROLE TIDE.

to our orange jerseys...Give me a break...I say take the penalty and count on the defense the first series!!

I guess they did it so as to not confuse the bammer faithful. If our boys wore Orange jerseys then the bammers might start thinking that they were actually in Knoxville. Imagine the horror when all of them drove into the Gulf of Mexico trying to find their way home after the game.

I am failing to see the problem in this:dance2:

The game is on Saturday. Toss a box of Tide after them and let them take a bath. No matter it is a week early. :eek:lol:

Suppose we find some way to build a decent lead at half time. Now suppose we come out for the second half in our orange jerseys. Would the officials allow it? If so, would the penalty still be 15 yards?

Well we said "NO" to Auburn's Tiger Walk, and we saw how that worked out for Auburn. Maybe this could be a little motivation as if we needed more!!!

Al v/s TN.....

Go Vols!

Wes Brown, a senior defensive tackle for the Vols (3-3, 1-2) from Athens, Ala., said he's just ready to beat the top-ranked Tide.
"We could wear pink, and I'd still be down there ready to go," he said.

I am still steaming over this...this would have been good publicity to a struggling rivalry nationally...but NO! I HATE BAMMER!

the reason it's "struggling" might be because they've beaten us down the last few years. No jersey will change that

Yeah that is part of the problem, but Bama was 67-55 from 97 to 2006. That didn't help the cause for a great rivalry.

Exactly, this hasn't really been an elite match-up of two highly ranked teams since 95...I think all we have is the tradition of the rivalry right now to promote, but oh well the BAMMERS screwed that up:crazy:<----(Bammer)
