We have enough TEs lined up. No need to force it. They should have Davis, Brame, JVD, and Cole Harrison next year. They have the entire 2027 cycle to find a guy that can be that third option after Davis is gone and one of Brame, JVD, or Harrison transfers

I like that he was also recruited by some as a DE. He plays with a very physical mentality, and that’s sort of rare with TEs straight out of HS since most P4 TEs come in as jumbo receivers that have rarely lined up across from someone that’s bigger than them. That may even give us a little more versatility at the position to where he can be used as an in line blocker rather than an H back. Which will really allow us to have a more balanced offense because that gives us the ability to run more stretch plays out of the pistol. Which in turn opens up true playaction passes to really freeze those safeties and backers

It’s kinda weird that he transferred. Given how thin we are at WR this year, a walk on might have a chance to get on the field at TN faster than at other places.

I know it's just 1 game, but if I'm a guy looking to get to the NFL it would seem UNC is not a preferable place to allow me to do that that much is very clear.
