'26 TN S Joel Wyatt (Tennessee commit)

2 big booms for the vols today.
1. Joel Wyatt commits to the vols
2. I'm proposing to my long time girlfriend tonight....

Don't know which one I'm more excited about 😁

Well we know 50% of marriages end in divorce.

Don’t know the percentage of kids who decommit or hit the portal.

Really need that number to help decide.

That’s not so bad, the other 50% end in death 🤣

Big boom. This class is easily turning into Heupel’s best class yet. This staff always seems to be good at grabbing a top rushing talent for the d-line.

Let’s go grab Hiter and get Keys to flip somehow/someway.

The Vols’ 2026 recruiting class now contains 22 commitments including from three safeties, two inside linebackers and two outside linebackers. Wyatt’s commitment boosted Tennessee’s class from No. 14 nationally to No. 12 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings. The Vols class also ranks No. 6 in the SEC.
247 personal ranking TN is 7th in country. Funny at the big 3 recruiting services on how they feel on certain players. One thing on TN Class full on Athletes many with big upside. Class is looking strong and much more to come. In CHRIST Alone

I love the Vols as much as anyone, but definitely number 2 bro, or don’t do it.

Best of luck tonight! And congrats on your commitment!

Trust me…. I watch enough DateLine and 48 Hours to know how manny spouses kill their partner. Don’t think it’s 50% though.

Some people live happily ever after.
Just celebrated 40 a few days back. We doin aight...so far.

I say "so far" because my wife is 1) quiet, and 2) loves murder shows.

I'm a track coach and saw Wyatt at the state meet this past spring. He definitely looks the part. His 10.7 100 along with 6-6 high jump and almost 24 feet long jump demonstrate fantastic explosiveness. I saw Jalen Ramsey about 12 or so years ago in the same events at state. Wyatt is about where Ramsey was as a junior in terms of times and jumps and Ramsey is one of the three or four best athletes I've seen in my 15 years of going to the state meet as a coach. So, I don't know about skill, but Wyatt certainly has the athletic credentials.
High praise!

Evidently t Wyatt showed out big time at Rivals 5-STAR event. And he played some CB!

I didn’t see THAT kind of ability in him, but the coaches are willing to give him a legit shot at DB. So they see something in him there and I’m glad he’s open to playing EDGE of safety/STAR doesn’t work out.
