With the way we hit in the transfer portal more often than not, that's good. There are teams ahead of us in recruiting who aren't as good at retaining players they want to keep or landing studs in the portal. The way things are trending it sure feels like we are going to go into the season top 10 in recruiting. Flip a couple guys like Keys and Harris/Givens during the fall and this has a chance to be one of our best recruiting classes in a LONG time.
The top would be. Going to be a top heavy class imo but if they can close out most of Hiter, Gray, Keys, Givens, etc that top could be pretty goodThe way things are trending it sure feels like we are going to go into the season top 10 in recruiting. That's a fair assesment but I also think signing more of the top end, truly elite blue chippers is where we've been lagging behind teams like Georgia, Bama, etc.The top would be. - WiltfongI love my prediction in favor of Tennessee for Joel Wyatt, the nation’s No. 4 athlete and No. 58 prospect overall. Wyatt has morphed into a back-end of the defense target for the Vols, which was the last hurdle for UT in this recruitment.
I’d rather get top level talent at the high school level and only take about 15-18 commits. Fill the rest with proven transfers for the remaining spots. IMOThe top would be. I love reading this. Not that he wouldn't have been fantastic as an Edge once he grew into it, but a) it would take time to grow into it and b) we always have top notch Edge guys. We've struggled getting a top end Safety (although I love Combay). Wyatt could become the physical freak we've lacked at Safety.- Wiltfong
