Everybody involved is a fool. The woman whining about the face mask, the Barney Fife's, and the politican. Got to say though, I would be ticked off too, if the cops came after me because of a mask, and going for a walk. I believe everybody showed a little character flaw in this one. No wonder there are so many problems in the world. It is full of idiots.
Yeah, because being a slumlord/state rep means you don't have to abide by a policy announced ad nauseum in the week leading up to the game.

Bound to happen to anybody who goes there enough. I myself, got into a physical confrontation with two usher's being rude to my dear mother at the Memphis game 4 years ago. Long story, but I was in the right and they left it alone.

This guy continues to be a beacon of social and political insight.

A politician who is not a shining example of all that is best in this country?????????????? How can this be??????

See most individuals occupying seats in Washington for the better part of the last decade if you need further proof of this point.

Bible thumpin' Christians are easily the most gullible creatures on this planet. Just holler Jesus a few time and they'll eat anything u spoon feed them... See Bush presidential elections 2000 and 2004 for further reference of this strange phenomenon. :)

No I'm pretty sure Obama supporters took over that role this past election.

I had a class with this gentleman my junior year at UT. He didn't come across as a gigantic idiot, but then, as a politician, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

prototypical radical Christian conservative that is borderline insane.

Just to clarify here...

If one attends church and believes in God, and also happens to vote conservatively, that makes him/her insane and/or a radical? Or is this comment made towards this one individual?

People who are defending him, he clearly broke a rule that stated not to where a mask. Also, he was in a section that was far away from his seat. LL is right under the jumbotron. He was sitting in B which is on the 35-yard line on the other side of the field. I can understand moving up a few rows from your original seat, but moving across the stadium?

people were wearing masks.
people sit in other sections, it was also raining and many seats were open.

don't understand why the person would complain, unless he was acting out of order.
seems petty, but there are a lot of complaining people in neyland.

don't know much about him or really care, but it just seems a bit overblown.

but, as long as we throw our own political views in, we will each prove we are right.

The guy is an idiot, but I agree with the sentiment here. I wouldn't even wear a mask to a halloween party, much less a football game, but I wouldn't complain if some dolt chose to do it. Heck, when you are at an event with 90,000+ it is always nice to know where the morons are without having to guess. Maybe allowing masks would be a good idea.

Knowing where they are is the biggest part of the battle.

Or yell Obama a few times and the liberals will believe anything you feed them. One day people may wake up from their stupor and realize what is actually going on with the Democrats and the Republicans. I agree that Christians are being used by the Republicans but I wouldn't feel superior if I were you. You have obviously bought into the liberal agenda hook line and sinker and your party has given you an enemy to shoot at. It's about fighting for the cause and you sir are a good soldier to your party. You see its not about thinking for yourself its about thinking what the party tells you to think. Conservative Republican's or Liberal Democrat's are just soldiers in the war being manipulated by their party. The two parties care about power and influence and that's about it. Took me many years to realize it but I do now.

The TNGA House of Representatives should take up this matter next year early in 2010 and move to censure Rep. Stacey Campfield for his October 31, 2009 petty thief of Section B seating at the UT Neyland Stadium football game...

Tennesseans should not tolerate this New York-Yankee carpetbagger stealing Section B seating from the UT Athletic Department/Tennessee Volunteer football program!!!
