Gerald Riggs was the only one close to this kid from this area. He’s something else. That’s for sure. I hope we land him

I went to Red Bank. I saw a bunch of Gerald’s games including the state championship game. No team could stop him even when they knew what play Red Bank was running because they didn’t have very many because they didn’t need them. DGB is light years beyond Gerald. He is laser focused on his football career and being the best human he can be. He’s faster, he understands pass protection. He had a violent block last night in PP. He can catch the ball out of the back field without showing his numbers. Gerald couldn’t do the last two. Especially pass protection which is what kept him on the bench for a couple years at UT except in obvious running situations.

I absolutely know that he is a special player. I honestly do. He still needs work on ball security....

And we still need to field a Top 25 defense more consistently. We've only been Top.25 (2 out of 5) years.
