When men were men

I miss the days when you could just hit a girl over the head with a club and claim her as your own....

Incredible culture, music scene, food, bars open almost 24/7, Spanish moss and live oaks. They struggle with poverty and corruption like most large cities, and it’s hot s hell, but there’s a lot to like about the city. Sorry you didn’t.
It’s more than a struggle and It smells like ass. The food and history is great though. The architecture around Tulane is incredible

"You're a clown"
Literally everyone in here rolls their eyes every single time you say something in the game chats. You bring down the entire vibe every single game over simple stuff like the other team converting a third down or Heupel kicking a field goal.

I really hope you watch the games by yourself, because I can't imagine having to be around someone so miserable during something that's supposed to be fun.

I'm joining the hundreds of others who have you on ignore. Please don't respond to me anymore.
Oh no! Please don’t go! I don’t know how I’ll survive.

Happy Friday

Sometimes what feels like a setback is actually a setup for something greater. The mountain you’re climbing may seem steep and endless, but when you reach the top, you’ll realize the strength you gained was the real reward. It’s in the fire that gold is refined, and it’s in our struggles that faith is proven. What you call a trial today may one day be the very thing that shaped your testimony.

When you face hardship, don’t rush to ask “Why me?” Instead, ask “What is this teaching me?” God’s plan often unfolds through discomfort, because growth rarely happens in comfort zones. Pain has a way of pruning what doesn’t belong, preparing us to bloom in seasons we never imagined.

Stand firm, even when it hurts. Look back at all the times you thought you wouldn’t make it — and yet, here you are. Those were blessings in disguise. Trust that today’s struggle carries tomorrow’s strength.

James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

College football will not survive in its current state and the more fingers in the pie, the worse it'll get. These sponsors are going to want something. *like changing TBA to the Food City Center.

The current state of college football/basketball..... the conferences make no sense, officiating is terrible/corrupt, and lifelong fans are getting priced out of their seats. And prices are still going up. Some jerk will say "but there's a waiting list for seats". There is here but what about these other schools across the country that are struggling to keep their sports teams. It sucks and you know it

GREED IS KILLING COLLEGE FOOTBALL (and basketball.... to a lesser extent)
Anecdotal evidence from television but outside the SEC it doesn't look like it is that hard to get a ticket. So many half empty stadiums. UCLA plays in front of family and friends. Even the playoff last season at Blowhio, we were able to buy up half their stadium and the tickets were really reasonable. If that game was at Neyland tickets would have been $1500 for a nosebleed, if you could get it.
