It has been. But the numbers tell a more unique story.Aren’t they all from Montreal, or at least Canada? Random but useful pipeline.
Yeah the flip side of the Canadian thing is he’s felt none of the influence of UT until he got here. But it’s way early and we’re up the street from him. We’ll have every chance to compete here. And if not, that’s why we’re pursuing Hiter. He's about to visit Ohio State for the third time already this year. Gonna be a tough get for us imo.
I don’t think anybody truly knows, but I’d imagine it’d be marginal. I mean, Ohio State just had two running backs drafted in the second round, after all.Does getting Hiter hurt in getting Georges next year? I'm not worried about it, just asking the question.
Cool...I graduated in '92 (his junior year). I had 4 TDs against you guys, but yall smoked us. Fred had 3TDs that game and David Quartey(sp?) had another 3 against us. Those boys could run. They smoked me when track season rolled around too!You don’t know that.
As if Ohio State doesn’t have multiple backs?
Every good RB wants to share with another good RB. It’s been that way for 20 years now.
He’s not a QB
Having “multiple backs” isn’t quite the same as signing the top RB in the country 2 years straight. Every RB definitely wants a guy that can relieve them, but every RB also wants to be the lead back and get most of the carriesYou don’t know that.

Ohio State had 2 of the best RBs in America last year. Neither was “relief.” Both were studs. It worked great. They were happy. Further, Judkins transferred to Ohio Stste as a star at Ole Miss knowing that Henderson was there and was a star. He actually chose to go split carries rather than be the workhorse.Having “multiple backs” isn’t quite the same as signing the top RB in the country 2 years straight. He's been at Tennessee several times and will be at Tennessee a ton this fall. Should be at most home games. He can visit elsewhere in the offseason when he is with his family and he'll get an early look at Ohio State for a gameday this fall if I remember correctly and then hit up most Tennessee games with GabeHe's about to visit Ohio State for the third time already this year. I always go back to Jamal. Obviously before your time lol. I was in the end zone upper deck for the Texas Tech game his freshman year. I don’t remember if it was the first game but it was early season. Pretty sure Mark Levine started and I think Shawn Bryson maybe played but I could be misremembering that. Anyway, when Jamal came into the game it was obvious he was the guy. I was like whoa. Those “dudes” are obviousDavid is a DUDE who is playing immediately wherever he goes. There's a difference with elite guys, coaching staffs make it work regardless.
