'27 TN RB David Georges

We’ll just get both…
Kinda reminds me of 2001 and 2002. In 2001, we signed 3 top 10 RBs in America (Jabari Davis, Cedric Houston, and Derrick Tinsley). In the 2002 class, there was a RB in Chattanooga who was more talented than any of them…Gerald Riggs, Jr. Many figured he might go elsewhere since we’d just brought in that 01 RB haul. But we got him.

I think we’re gonna get Hiter in 2026 and Georges in 2027.

As an aside, we had the most talented RB in the 01 group committed, but he flipped to Auburn. No, Cadillac Williams wasn’t ranked as highly as Davis (and maybe Houston), but he was still a top 10 RB who ended up being the best of the bunch.

Wasn't Ronnie Brown also committed? Maybe we just led for him for quite some time. And maybe I'm totally misremembering the situation.

Highly unlikely chances less than 50%.
Maybe if the cupboard was bare Consider what we already have all solid going into next season. (I would love to be wrong here but we are in different times)
Bishop(R.So)-jr
Lewis (So)-jr
Morris (Fr)-So
Baker(Fr)-So
Thomas will be gone

When would Hiter see action?

Question is would the '26 RB prospect sit possibly 1-2 yrs?

QB, RB you can only start 1 at the position. When Brandon arrives next year somebody's leaving that's a fact!

We give multiple backs carries when healthy.

And who says Hiter couldn’t beat out some of these cats?

You’re also assuming all these backs are still on the roster next season. Never know with the portal.

Lots of assumption baked in here. You don't recruit that way anymore. One year at a time.

Yes, he was committed, but he was in the prior class. He and Cadillac ended up in the same class because Brown redshirted.

Brown wasn't as highly recruited/rated as those other names, though. He was one who outperformed his ranking.

Tinsley is the coach at Marietta high school now (where Harrison Bailey went).

He was doing evaluation for the 8-9 year olds recently to assign teams/positions and had good things to say about my nephew :)

LOL, yep! A lot of us assumed he'd wind up at linebacker in college following the Al Wilson, Eddie Moore, Eric Westmoreland track of RB in HS to fast athletic LB in college. He had no intention of playing defense and made that clear to everyone the way he ran wild.

beastmode energy
In highschool, I played against the Bullocks Brothers, Gerlald Riggs Jr., Walter Fischer, Randall Cobb, Brandon Warren, and Dustin Lindsey. I watched Maryville play against Cade and Cooper Mays, Walter Nolen, and Jordan James. This guy is the most impressive high school football player I've ever seen in person.

Gerald’s a friend. Certainly impressive company

Dustin Lindsey is a blast from the past. He and Travis Cozart both could have been great.

Cadaillac is still a legend in Auburn.

Yeah I remember 01-02 and our 4 RBs and J-Train being too slow, Tonsley was skinny but couldn’t catch. Houston and Riggs were the cream of the crop tho.

I think we have that in Bishop and Morris 😌.
Gavin’s George’s and Hiter are going to have to really earn it. Bishop will play till hes a 5th year senior at Tennessee and Morris another Sampson imo

Then there’s Lewis probably still be 3rd team, but the best 3rd string RB in the conference

I watched all the video I could find of this kid. I’m not sure what all the hype is about. I feel like some of yall just make stuff up based on what the previous guy said. It’s sad and embarrassing. He is good but a 3 star at best….

Jk. His athleticism jumps off the screen. Speed and power. Great vision. He deserves a 5* ranking. Zero doubt.
