'27 TN RB David Georges

I get that but the guys that play the most are the best pass blockers. We’ve now had two blue chip running backs transfer out (Seldon and Lewis) because they weren’t good pass blockers and did not play because of that.
Both have shown they were good in high school and listed as blue chip. Seldon has done nothing in multiple years with different coaches. Lewis may turn into something but only time will tell.

my gut tells me this guy ends up at Ohio st but AP and Hubbs will tell us to the bitter end we are the leaders.

maybe its just bad memories of hiter
He's the Tristen Keys of this class for us not Savion. We wanted Savion but we weren't gonna move heaven and earth to get him. We did that for Tristen Keys despite him committing to LSU. We've landed the #1 prospect on our board the last 2 years. Why would 2027 be any different?

No. 1 target talks Tennessee

Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School five-star running back David Gabriel Georges believes the Vols will ultimately go to another level, from competing for a spot in the College Football Playoff to winning those games in the postseason.

“I feel like Tennessee is building and bringing in top players that will make an immediate impact,” Gabriel Georges said this week. “And they made it very clear that they see me the same way and that I am their top priority for 2027.”

The Vols will continue to battle Ohio State, Georgia and others for the prolific tailback. He says he has not scheduled any visits for the spring.

“So far I haven’t made any decision and I am looking forward to my OVs.”

Gabriel Georges ranks as the No. 1 recruit in the state, No. 2 running back in the land and No. 17 prospect overall in the Rivals300.

Giving up already I see

Could get him, but I guess it depends on what “value” we place at RB.

Unfortunately, I don’t see us paying a ton for any RB.

Star Thomas, cheap
Javin Gordon, cheap
Duane Morris, I’d imagine cheap
Justin Baker, cheap.

Doesn’t seem we put a lot of value in that position, but I guess it makes sense when we have underrated guys performing.

Well when @BigOrangeTrain drops a big bag for this guy he will be in the boat...

Have more faith @TrippieRedd I heard he’s getting the David Sanders and Tristan Keys treatment. They view DGG as a game changer at RB

Tennessee has made Georges our #1 target in the class. It doesn’t matter that he’s a RB or what we’ve paid RBs in the past. We’ll pay what it takes, just like we always do for our #1 target.

Blah blah blah not coming to Tennessee blah blah blah
the kid literally just said he's taking his visits.

I still fail to believe we went from leaders to followers in that short of time.

money talks ******** walks. Fong isnt the oracle. He's wrong as much as right.

We will show out this year and he'll be a Vol.
